1. Anonymization

If you wish, you can anonymize your candidates information for a given assessment in order to eliminate any bias during the screening process.

To anonymize first, last names and email address of your candidates: click on the assessment of your choice, access its general settings and activate the toggle "Anonymize candidates":

Remember to "Save" your changes. Refresh your web page and return to your candidate results dashboard to see the change:

💡 You can display your candidates' information again at any time by deactivating this toggle.

2. De-anonymization

If you previously anonymized candidates for an assessment, you can choose to display their names and emails again. This action helps you move forward in your hiring process once the risk of bias has been mitigated.

Here are the steps to follow to do so:

  1. Open the assessment that was previously anonymized

  2. Click on the Settings tab

  3. Select the General section from the left-hand menu

  4. Scroll down to find the “Anonymize candidates” option

  5. Deactivate the toggle to reveal candidate names and emails

6. Click Save to confirm your changes. Refresh your web page and return to your candidate results dashboard to see the change
