Setting up Interview Plans in Maki

In this article, you’ll find out how you can set up interview plans in your assessments.

Maki aims to help the recruiters make more informed hiring decisions. The Interview Plan feature provides a clear structure and standardized criteria for interviews right after the assessment to ensure that every candidate is assessed fairly and thoroughly.

The plan is created based on the job description and serves as a guide throughout the interview stage. It includes 15 targeted questions specifically designed to evaluate the candidate’s suitability for the role. Each question is paired with four rating criteria, from "Poor" to "Stellar," allowing you to easily compare and rate candidate responses with precision and consistency.

You may follow the step by step guide below on how to use this feature:

  1. Activate the feature in your account.

    To enable this feature, you have to reach out to your Customer Success Manager so they can activate this on your account.

  2. Set up the job description.

    Once enabled, set the job description in the assessment settings. It will take at least 1 minute for the Interview Plan tab to be available for the recruiter.

  3. See the interview plan.

    You should be able to view and download the interview plan from the recruiter app or recruiter scorecard.
