The Flash Interview Assessment activity at Maki is designed to replicate a real-life interview as much as possible. An avatar will ask you questions related to the job you are applying to, usually replicating a scenario you could come across in the job. You will then be asked to answer these questions either by recording your voice or selecting a multiple choice answer.

Setup
At the beginning of the activity, you will be asked to activate your microphone and camera, and you will not be able to proceed if this isn’t working correctly, due to the nature of the assessment.
You will also be able to check and change your microphone and camera settings via the sidebar throughout the whole assessment.
What types of questions are there?
Interview style question
For this question type, you will be asked a question by the avatar - it will also be written down for you. You will then be expected to answer this question to the best of your ability, by recording your voice and submitting it. You response will then be assessed accordingly.
💡 Tip: if your recording is too short or has not been properly saved, you will receive a warning message prompting you to retry. Please don’t ignore this message if you receive it, as it could affect your score if the questioned is not answered correctly.
2. Multiple Choice style question
This type of question will present you with several options in response to the question asked to you by the avatar. All you need to do is select the one which you feel best answers the question.
Can I do this assessment using my phone?
You sure can! The Interview assessment is now fully functioning on mobile.
Tips for this activity
Make sure you are in quiet and well-lit surroundings, just as you would for a live interview.
Ensure that you have a strong internet connection
