1. Activate the integration between TalentSoft and Maki
To enable the synchronisation of Maki data in Talentsoft, you need to activate the integration by following these few steps:
Send a ticket to Talentsoft support to request activation of the Maki x Talentsoft integration.
Share the API keys provided by Talentsoft support with your Maki contact ("Secret Key"andCustomer ID")
Once these two steps have been completed, you need to add a dynamic Application Action in Talentsoft from the Administration > Back Office > Actions page:
Select the type "Marketplace - Evaluation"
Then select "Maki"
Match the evaluation events to your application events (this will enable you to modify your application as the tests progress).
Define whether this action will be available en masse and/or individually
Define which profiles will have access to this action
Define whether the action can be applied to unsolicited applications and/or applications linked to an offer
Define the visibility of the action
Enter its title and choose an icon (the Maki logo, for example)
To give recruiters access to the "Screening" tab (which contains the results), you need to give them the "Evaluation" right. Evaluation right from the "Candidate Management" section, via the Administration > Back Office > Users > Rights and profiles page.
For recruiters to have access to the content of the data (scores and reports), they must also be given the "Access application content" (which can also be found in the "Candidate management")
2. How does the Maki x Talentsoft integration work?
Once the integration has been activated, here's how to use Maki via Talentsoft:
a. How do I invite a candidate to take a Maki assessment?
A recruiter can invite one or more candidates to take an assessment from:
The candidate file (when an application is selected)
The list of applications (from an offer)
The Document Reader (from an application)
Once you have selected the candidate(s), click on "Action" and select "Maki evaluation":
The window that opens lists all the assessments created in Maki. All that remains is to choose the assessment to send to the candidate.
💡 Make sure that the assessment has already been created in Maki.
Candidates will then receive an email inviting them to take the assessment.
💡 A recruiter may ask a candidate to take several different assessments for the same application, one after the other.
b. How do I view my candidate's results?
Once you have shared an assessment with your candidate, you can access the results directly on their profile, in the "Screening".
The following statuses will be displayed according to the progress of the activities:
Waiting for a response from the candidate
In progress
Completed by the candidate
The score obtained by the candidate in the assessment is updated automatically as the activities progress.
Once all the activities have been completed by the candidate, the recruiter will be able to see the overall score for the assessment.
If more than one score is available, these will be displayed in the form of tooltips.
Recruiters can also consult the assessment reports in the "Screening" tab. There may be one overall report or several reports based on the types of activities carried out by the candidates.
By clicking on the flag, the recruiter can view the reports for all parts of the assessment. There is also a single link for direct access to the overall assessment report. Simply click on the name of the report and it will open in a new tab:
