What are the different roles on Maki?

In order to provide a framework for every user, there are 5 different roles available in Maki:

  1. Admin: Company admin with full access to all assessments and all Maki features, including company settings. Basically, this role allows you to take any action on the app, so we recommend assigning it to a limited number of trusted individuals due to the significant impact their actions can have.

  2. Recruiter: They make sure that the candidates are completing the assessment in Maki. They can do pretty much what the admin can except manage the company settings and ATS integration. Essentially, recruiters focus on candidate progress and assessment completion but don't have access to modify any company-wide settings or integrations.

  3. Hiring Manager: They can’t create assessments or update its settings, they also can’t manage the users in Maki. In essence, hiring managers evaluate candidates but rely on others to handle the technical aspects of assessments and user management.

  4. Manager: Managers can review and assess candidate information but need other team members to handle candidate invitations and assessment setups.

  5. Interviewer: Interviewers can only observe and provide feedback on candidate performance without making any changes to the assessments or managing user settings.

What permissions are associated to each role?

The permissions related to each role are listed below:
