For one reason or another, as a recruiter, you may occasionally find yourself needing to reset a candidate's activity or a candidate's full assessment on Maki. If this applies to you, follow the guide below to find out how:

Important: By resetting your candidate's activity/assessment, ALL associated data will be permanently erased, granting them the opportunity to retake the activity. Please consider the consequences carefully before proceeding.

1. Steps to reset a singular activity

Resetting a singular activity means that all other progress your candidate has made on other activities will remain.

I. Head to your Maki Dashboard of assessments

II. Locate and select the assessment which contains the activity that you wish to reset

III. Find the candidate whose activity you wish to reset from the list

IV. Click on the specific activity from the assessment

V. Reset activity

VI. Accept prompt

VII. Activity is now reset

Your candidate's activity will now be reset, and they will be able to re-attempt using the original link sent to their email.

2. Steps to reset a full assessment

Resetting your candidate’s full assessment means that all the data will be erased from every activity.

I. Head to your Maki Dashboard of assessments

II. Locate and select the assessment that you wish to reset

III. Find the candidate whose assessment you wish to reset from the list

IV. Reset assessment

V. Accept prompt

VII. Activity is now reset

Your candidate's entire assessment will now be reset, and they will be able to re-attempt using the original link sent to their email.
