How long does Maki keep my assessment results?

In this article, we will explain how Maki uses your previous results to make your experience smoother and more efficient.

Conserving your results in a few words

If you have already taken one or more Maki assessments in the past, it may happen that when you have to take a new assessment, you have to complete activities that are similar to those you have already taken in the past.

Rather than making you retake those activities, Maki keeps your results from past assessments for a minimum of 6 months. Depending on the policy set by the recruiter, this period may be longer.

Why is this useful?

This feature saves you time and ensures fairness between all candidates, guaranteeing a fairer and more consistent assessment.

How does it work?

When you access a new Maki assessment, sign in. Our system checks whether you have already completed similar activities within the retention period (at least 6 months, possibly longer depending on the recruiter's policy). If so, your previous results are reused, allowing you to move directly to any new activities. If you have completed all activities before, you will go straight to the final page of your assessment; your application is saved, and your results are sent to your recruiter.

Can I retake activities/assessments?

To ensure equal opportunities for all candidates, you can retake an assessment once every 6 months at the earliest. Some recruiters may choose a longer retake period based on their own policy. Once this period has passed, your previous results will be erased to account for your evolving skills.
