Some assessments include a document upload activity, where you are asked to submit a file as part of your response. This article explains what types of files are accepted, and what to do if your file is not going through.
💡Tip. If your file is being rejected or the upload button is not working, the most likely reason is that the file format is not supported or the file is too large. Check the requirements below before trying again.
1. File size limit
Your file must be 500 MB or less. Files larger than this cannot be uploaded.
If your file exceeds this limit, try compressing it or reducing its size before uploading again.
2. Number of files per question
Each question only accepts one file. If you need to submit several documents, please combine them into a single file (for example, a ZIP archive or a multi-page PDF) before uploading.
3. Accepted file formats
The following file formats are supported:
Documents: PDF, Word (.doc / .docx), OpenDocument Text (.odt)
Spreadsheets: Excel (.xls / .xlsx), OpenDocument Spreadsheet (.ods)
Presentations: PowerPoint (.ppt / .pptx), OpenDocument Presentation (.odp)
Data files: CSV
Archives: ZIP, RAR
4. File formats that are not accepted
Images and all other file types are not supported. This includes .jpg, .png, .gif, .mp4, .mp3, and any format not listed above.
