1. What is the "MPI-6F" personality test?
The MPI-6F (or CISDAG) is a new version of a well-known and validated psychometric personality model: the HEXACO test (Honesty-Humility, Emotionality, eXtraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness and Openness to Experience). This descriptive model measures the normal variation in the way people think, feel and behave across six main dimensions.
In this newly developed version of the HEXACO, the dimensions have been renamed, respectively: "Emotional Stability", "Gregariousness", "Diligence", "Amicableness", "Open-mindedness" and "Truthfulness-Humbleness". This version has been developed so that it can be used in professional contexts.
2. How are MPI-6F results calculated?
The MPI-6F test is used to characterize each candidate in relation to the 6 dimensions. For each of these dimensions, candidates are assigned one of three groups: "Low", "Medium" and "High", depending on their actual score on the test. Assignment is based on a representative sample study (calibrated cohort).
A candidate who belongs to the "High" group is a candidate who falls within the definition of this dimension; conversely, a candidate who belongs to the "Low" group is far from it.
3. How can we interpret the MPI-6F results?
Let's take the example of the "Extraversion" dimension:
"Low": introverted, solitary and reserved candidate
"Medium": ambivert candidate (neither extrovert nor introvert), engaging and flexible
"High": outgoing, lively and sociable candidate
